I'm a big advocate of Mentzers "Heavy Duty" (with just a couple of modifications). I've made progress in the gym with every workout and have added 15-20 lbs of muscle mass since starting Heavy Duty. Just courious as to your thoughts about the "Heavy Duty" program.
Do SHIT (super hi intensity training), meaning 1 set of 3 reps partial deadlift (only the last part of the range) and take one month to recover. If this doesn't work take one extra month rest
- shoot for 8000 calories a day
- no cardio (no sex!)
- no abs
- remember Menzer: mind over matter...watch soap opera every day to mentally harden up and make deadlifts a breeze
- sleep at least 12 hours a day (GHB & beer is good sleep aid)
- GH / TEST / INSULIN stack is a must
Pre-contest add one set of squats supersetted with clean and jerks to bring out the striations in your upper and lowerbody.
Make sure u have at least 6 spotters to do some forced reps, barf bags and oxygen....
Like Lou Ferrigno did , bring your dad to the gym. Have him shout "ARNOLD, ARNOLD!!" during deadlifts
