Limiting growth in specific bodypart

Liberator

New member
I am more than happy with the growth rate of my delts, they are one of my best bodyparts along with back, but I want to limit the growth in them and blow out my chest some more to proportion my chest with the size of my delts, especially the upper area of my chest

basically what i am asking is, should I just keep training my delts and do chest once a week and stick with it; or could I drop some exercises from my delts routine, maintain there size with high reps, i.e 15-20 and add another chest day or add more sets to my chest workout.

I have not trained for a full year yet, only 7-8 months with the full blown diet, originally I was going to train everything for a year and then evaluate then.

I am 209lbs 10-12%

what would you recommend?

thanks fellas

Man this is only my opionion but if you've been working out for as long as you say you don't need to limit the growth of anything but if you really have your mind set on it just don't do anything or do alot less you will surely stop growing.

I'd say keep working them with high reps to maintain size. I'm not sure what your chest routine looks like right now so I can't tell you if you need to add more size, but I would definately make sure I use isolations exercises like peck deck flies.

Make pec-training your priority, first day of the week or after an off-day. And maybe work them a little more often. Dont overdo them though.
