As of last week (Friday to be exact) I started a low carb diet and by Sunday I managed to enter the state of ketosis. I've read that while in this state body fat is burned much more effeciently. However I'm wondering if there are any negative aspects to working out while in this state or is it vice versa. (all positive)
Quite a few articles and books state that doing cardio in the morning before breakfast will make a tremedous difference in fat burning. Is the same true concerning cardio during a ketosis state?
Will my muscles suffer (atrophy) while training on an extremely low carb diet?
How long should a person stay in a state of ketosis?
Has anyone here personally used this method to lose large amounts of weight?
I need to shed about 38 pounds at the least and maybe 58 at most. I'm really hoping that a low carb diet and lots of hiit cardio will help me to trim the fat quickly.
