is skim milk a good source of protein?

I tend to drink quite a bit of skim milk, mainly for the fact that it has a high protein content and low fat content. Is there a problem with drinking skim milk? I'm trying to get cut and am wondering if this is going to hinder my success

milk protein is quality protein, if looking to get though drinking a lot of milk means ingesting a lot of sugar carbs as well, which can hinder.....i would look to somewhat limit it but dont completely cut it out

The skim milk I have knocking around in the fridge right now says 9 grams of protein, and 12 grams of carbs per serving. So yes, it's a good source of protein, but it's a larger source of carbs. If you're watching your carbs, or you're lactose-intolerant, stay away.

Lactose=carbs, but they are very low impact carbs. As long as you don't have probs with lactose, milk is a good food. So is unsweetened or artificially sweetened yogurt.

milk does a body good, but dont count on it as your main source of protein. variety is best....chicken, eggs, fish, beans, beef.

im lactose intolerant but i still buy lactaid (lactose free milk), i try to take in all my carbs before 6pm and then i stick to protein only and water.........

Lactose is low GI, depending on your diet plan and how you digest milk, its a great source of food when eating clean.

if you where dieting/clean bulking i would ditch the milk.. Maybe have some PW when the sugars wont matter but otherwise i would avoid it...
