Guys, how do you get 200g of protein and lower your carbs...

to less than 100g per day without your daily meals consisting of pure protein shakes???

Seriously! Take a look at my typical day:

Meals:

1. Myoplex in water.

2. 1l of Skim Milk

3. Tuna sandwich

4. Protein bar (Lean Body or U-Turn)

5. Chicken breast and 2 drumsticks with rice and some lettuce.

I try to get 6 meals a day, but I honestly don't know what else to eat that will give me enough protein.

Just make an estimate of the above, and it will be something like this:

Meals:

1. 42g protein / 23g carbs

2. 30g / 25g

3. 25g / 50g

4. 30g / 30g

5. 25g / 70g

The bars might not even have the protein they say, but I just eat them because there's nothing else.

Honest to goodness the only protein shakes I can drink are the Myoplex and the Lean Body shakes. Everything else makes me sick.

So how do you do it? If I wanted to get less than 100g of carbs daily, the only way to do it is to drink only protein shakes, or eat only meat all day long!

I couldn't stand doing that more than 2 weeks, not to mention the price of what it would cost me to do that.

How do you guys do it??

If you wanna lower your carbs STOP EATING CARBS!
you're eating rice, myplex shakes, sanwiches, protein bars!!!

Look at all the quality sources of protein here:

Chicken
Lean Beef
Eggs
Egg Whites
Salmon
White Fish
All Meat and Sea Food
Protein Powders (Low carb ones)

All quality sources of protein and all low in carbohydrates

Yes if you wanna get low carbs (< 100g) then you're gonna have to cut eating carbs... instead of eating rice, bread, protein bars etc, concentrate oneating salads, green veggies that are low carb and dont forget to up your fats and have good efas most of the time.
 
Whip up a few lbs of taco meat (lean as possible of course)and add cheese.......maybe some picante sauce and sour cream if u like right before u eat it.
If you do several lbs at a time, along with maybe some chicken, your set for the week.

1) Myoplex off the bat has 25g carbs. Can you change this for a shake that has 22g protein and <3g carbs?

2) Lay off the milk and change it for some tuna, egg whites, steak, chicken

3) Tuna is great. Why don't you try mixing a can of tuna with egg whites and salsa :)

4) U-Turn/Detour/One Way are bad in terms of their nutritional profiles. They have more fat then stated, more carbs AND sugar and they have less protein. Ditch it and another meal in there. Possibly pepperoni, chicken, meat, you get my drift

5) Make sure the rice is brown rice. You're getting a hearty amount of carbs in your final meal. Maybe you cxan put this in #3 and eliminate the late carbs
 
Meat is the best way to get alot of protien, as well as fatty acids that proliferate the release of anabolic hormones, without adding carbs. I just finished a bulking phase on 500 grams a day. The base of my diet was 5 ibs of meat a day. That was the source of over half of my calories, and the majority of my protien.
