During/Post Shakes? advice please

This is what I am currently taking in-

during training-
gatorade supp'ed with 5g glutamin and 5g creatine

post training-
ABB XXL (for bulking)
1090 cals
220g carbs (multidextrin)
50g protein

post training meal (1hr later)-
large chicken breast or steak
1/2 cup brown rice or potato

my questions are... does this look okay for bulking? is the gatorade w/ glutamine & creatine okay to take during training or should I get rid of that (too much sugar) and add the glutamin & creatine to the post training shake? thanks for any info.
 
forgot to mention that the ABB XXL comes with 50 grams of sugar for restoring muscle glycogen post training (in case you aren't familiar with the ABB XXL stuff). thanks.
 
220 carbs PWO is waaaay too much. unless your are 440 pounds. I would reccomend that you use a PWO shake that contains half of your bodyweight in carbs and a quarter of your body weight in protien. IE 200lbs 100 carbs(dextrose/maltodex) and 50 protien. Slam half after your workout, and sip the rest for the next 30-60 mins. This was from ABCbodybuilding.com. Look up window of opportunity.

If you are bulking then do not take the gatorate out of your workout, it will help with energy levels durring the workout.

I would increase the carbs in your Post WO meal to about half your bodyweight.

i am going to try biotest's surge. it uses the recommended 2:1 ratio of glucose to protein for post-workout recovery (use immediately after training), followed up by a high-protein meal 1 hr later, w/ a serving of low GI carbs. i'll also keep the gatorade during training while bulking, w/ the creatine and glutamine, what the hell, it can't hurt i guess.

anyone else use biotest's surge? how were your results compared to other products? thanks.
 
That biotest shit is a rip off. Make your own protien at protien factory or protien customizer. I paid 50 dollars for ten pounds.
 
did you add any dextrose to that protein? it is recommended to take sugar and carbs in a 2:1 ratio following workout.
