Double Denim Test Night...

Thanks for the response, Jay...

I'm going to keep trying to break it in and hope that my lockout strength improves rapidly. Good luck with your new shirt and let us know how the test goes.

I'm not real familiar with competitions but I was under the impression that your head, shoulders and butt had to stay on the bench for the lift to pass? Is this not right? Just curious as I don't know and was wondering.

I am under the impression that it depends on the federation about keeping your head on the bench. I know that in Bob Youngs' South Florida Bench Bash this weekend it is legal to take your head up off the bench and I have seen pics of this from other meets.

My training partners and I do this now in all ME BP lifts. It might take a few times to get used to it but start doing it and it will come aroud. Also I have noticed that some people start bringing the bar lower RAW when they start lifting their heads up.

Well i dont know abou tthe international rules (dont care really) but APA, APF, WABDL, WPO, IPA, your allowed to lift your head. Your shoulders and butt must stay in contact. Tell me though, how can you bench if your shoulders dont touch? USAPL not sure but hell they dont even have a press count so in doesnt matter anyway. So lift that head! Or the bar will not come down in denim. At least not as well.

Just got clearance from the boss. Sunday is cool. May have to be an in and out thing, though. But we are clear for workout on Sunday. Let me know if you guys can make it and when so I will be sure I am there.

Sounds good to me. Are you in BigOkie? What do you have planned for Sunday's workout? 3-Boards and shirt work sounds good to me.

I think that I can make it on Sunday. I think you all said noon, right? I should be there.

No shit on the forearm thing, big and cut. Screwball's forearms are definitely bigger.

I was thinking 3 board/shirt, then 5 board with bands for triceps, one arm rows for lats, shoulders, rotators, and call it a day.

Noon is fine.

Bigokie, thanks for commenting on Screwball's freakish forearms.
