I'm sixteen years old, 5'9 and about 188 lbs. Ive been doing strength training 5x5 three times a week for a couple of weeks and im getting alot of muscle but my lower belly and oblique fat hasnt changed yet. Here's how my diet is pretty much every day so can you tell me if over time my fat will go away or if i need to make some changes:

7 A.M: 2 egg omelet with spinanch, bacon and cheese and some broccoli on the side
12 P.M: 1/2 chicken breast, spinach, carrots, and maybe some broccoli
4 P.M: Post Workout, Either oats with strawberries or a two spinach and turkey tortilla wraps with a protein shake.
8 P.M: Salmon or Tilapia, spinach and either broccoli or cauliflower

Also, i do one hour of wrestling every night from 7-8. I try to stay away from fruit due to the high amount of carbs, and i only eat grains 3x a week within 30 min of finishing a weight training session.

Lol... U definitely need to eat more and more often. Also, congrats on getting started with weight training. Stick with it and you will crush it.

Check out some old diet threads here for a complete plan but to give you a general idea you need to aim for 5-6 small meals per day... Get lean protein (about 8 oz) at each meal and have good carbs (no junk food) with each of your first 4 or 5 meals.

Feel free to PM me with questions, but I'm pretty sure the guys have posted some good stuff here before. Maybe someone with computer access can help you with some links....
