Went to the health store today ...
weighing in between buying proteing whey or creatine..
What do you people suggest? I am ccurrently on a diet looking to lose 50pounds...
I am quite illeterate of knowledge on creatine? if i take it does it help protein supplies (doubt it) or the sort...
I weight 258pounds... Roughly how much protein do i need for my body daily on both work out and rest days..

Cheers

actually start by doing cardio and get ur self into a good lifting and cardio workout , whey protine i would go with to help with pro consumption , you need a good clean diet , working out and clean diet , look at the post about 50 pds loss by pintoca is a good place to find out more information ,make sure you consume enough calories so you wont have your body in starvation mode

Get the whey, forget the creatine for the time being (you will hold water and your motivation might be hurt by not seeing the scale going down).

for your protein intake, I would say 258 gr of prot a day, on training and non training days.
So your whey will help you to have this amount of prot, will be easier than eating this with only solid food
