Would pull-ups ed or eod be overtraining?

I'm lacking lat size and want to make them wider. I do back once or twice a week while on. So would I be overtraining my lats if did pull ups ed or eod? In my younger years I grew an awesome chest because of everyday push ups along w/ regular weight training.

I think if you did four sets eod for a couple of weeks and then went back to training them once or twice a week you'd give them a good kickin' in the crotch to get them going.

u should definatley not train them ED or EOD. even if u have really good genetics u shouldn't do this if your goal is to get your back wider. alot of people dont realize that when they train they are actually breaking down muscle tissue. thats why u need to let them rest so they can recover and get stronger and larger. u said that a while back u used to to do pushups and grew an awesome chest as a result. well, im sure when u were younger you had better recovery ability but regardless i bet if u would have done a more conventional approach to training your chest they would have been even more impressive. so remember, stimulate the muscle, then let it rest so it can adapt to the stress and grow

ED or EOD, especially with weights would be overtraining. If you go to failure, once a week is fine. Widen your normal grip one inch each way and see if you can tell a difference in the isolation. This should jump start your back a bit.
