Too much green tea?

Are there any side effects to say, drinking 10+ cups of green tea a day? I mean why drink water if I can have water+green tea all day. They just started buying green tea for supplies at my work and I just had my first cup and really liked it. Before I had only taken the EGCG caps from AFStore.

This is the brand they purchased
Green Tea
Its listed as a low caffeine version so I won't be boucing off the walls at only 20-30mg per cup. I wish I could find out the EGCG content though. So any ideas on whether it'd be okay to drink this all day at work instead of water? :coffee:

I think it may be a little too much too soon. Take it easy on it and see how your body responds to it after a while. I fugure green tea is good for you for various cited reasons but too much in excess of anything could have adverse reactions/sides. Just a little food for thought.

imo 10 cups is not overkill..i have never read anything negative about too much green tea. you will get more ecgc by drinking more, which only has benefits (that im aware of..)

the problem with green tea drinking is that it often has a high flouride content, sometimes extremely high, since it leaches flouride from the soil. If you use flouridated water to make it, then you are asking for flourosis.
