Simple question, is soy milk ok to have while cutting?????????? I like to have it with that new Special K cereal that is low carb (tons of fiber, 9 net grams of carbs and 13g of protein a serving).... What is your thoughts of the cereal too?

Soy + the cereal. I think its all shiiaat.

most soy milk is LOADED with sugar.. watch out. To top it off, the overall consensus is that males should try to avoid excess soy in the diet too.. so I'd personally go with sugar free skim milk, they got it at thee store it's sweetened with splenda instad of lactose... pretty good on cereal i gotta say. As for cereal, try to get something a bit lower on the GI than special K. Go to trader joes and get somthing that is mostly fibrous carbs, you can also get some with flax in em and all kindsa nuts and stuff. If you have to have something high gi, then take some ALA with it.

Unsweetened low fat soy milk and skim milk look about the same

So take whichever you prefer (taste)

There are three kinds of Silk Soy Milk: Vanilla, Regular, and Unsweetened. The unsweetened soy milk has 3-4 g of carbs per serving, and I think 1 of those is fiber. It's basically sugar free. I haven't tried, it, but it's out there.

I'd avoid excess soy, but a cup a day isn't going to kill you.

I've been on Soya milk (unsweetened) for the last 3 years.
Since then I've managed to maintain low bodyfat levels, increased definition, less bloated and less farts!
Good stuff IMO.
