Do you need him to make an insurance claim for a rock thru the window & then you can increase his insurance?

Weekend is good. Men are retarded. I"ll leave it at that. Gonna try a different gym tonite w/ a friend. Its back night so hopefully I won't hurt myself. I feel some stiffness in my biceps from Thurs, but nothing on my back, so I'll give it a shot today since I have a spotter.

Otherwise, went to Vic's Secret & bought nastily nice stuff today ;)

Hope it goes well at the new gym. Is the stuff you bought from Vic's secret for the retarded men LOL.

I found some stuff on sale in there that I had always wanted to buy, and then found a few other things at Dillards, all great prices :)

Gym was actually really great last nite - did back and was amazed how well it went considering how shitball it was on Thurs. Diet was pretty spotty just from a lot of errands I had to run - mostly living off stuff I packed in the car - not bad tho. Probably mostly just not enough.

Training - back - following my friend's routine so pretty much winged it, no cardio cuz no time.

lat pull downs: 80/10 90/10 110/10 110/10
on the floor close grip (same as lat, but close grip) pull-downs: 90/10 x 2 110/10 x 2
cable row: 80/10 90/10 100/10 110/10
Giant:
- HS low row: 45's/10 x 3
- HS row: 45s/10 x 3
- HS hi row / reverse grip: 45s/10 x 3
- HS hi row / wid pull down: 45s/10 x 3
Belgian DLs (these were new to me): 80/10 x 3 - these are sort of like a bent (but locked) leg DL, back straight & range from mid shin to 1/2 way up quad - short range, you feel it in the erectors.
Super:
- straight arm cable pulldown: 80/10 x 3
- bent over row: 35/10 45/10 x 2

Very happy w/ my strength - didn't push much but didn't get wiped out right away either. More cardio workout w/ the supers. Kept a close eye on my right rotator and all went pretty well. It just "felt" good, like a good back routine is supposed to.

No training last nite - friend leaving town for a few weeks so we went out for a little xmas celebration.

Today very fucked up day at work - very emotionally exhausting so looked forward to training but was actually still emotionally exhausted when I got there. And my damn foot started cramping up big time so skipped cardio. Training in general - eh, shoulders, tendonitis flared up. But I did it. The funny part was going in w/ intention of chest & tris and continued thinking I was doing chest & tris even tho I completed almost all of my usual bicep routine.... completely brain dead today.

Diet - also very low on cals today because of work -- meetings and running around all day.
Meal 1: 8 am
5 oz turkey patty

Meal 2: 12:30 pm
4 oz chicken
2 c broccoli salad
1 tsp sesame vinaigrette

Meal 3: 3 pm
handful of almonds

Meal 4: 6 pm -- lmao on the drive home...
2 x Myoplex Lite bars
1 apple

Meal 5: 9 pm
4 oz chicken
2 c broccoli

Training: chest & bis
5 min elliptical
Super:
- flat bench press: bar/20 (warmup) bar + 20/15, bar+40/12 bar+50/10
- cable inside / outside (shoulder): 5/20(4) x 3
Super:
- incline DB press: 30/12 35/10+30/5 30/12
- incline DB fly: 20/12 x 3
Cable front x-over: 15/15 x 3
Super:
- ez curl 15's: 30/5+5+5 40/5+5+5 x 2
- hammer curls: 20/15 25/12 x 2
Super:
- front x-over DB curls: 20/15 x 3
- hi cable bis: 15/15 x 3

Just a letting-off-steam note today - didn't eat much and was so emotionally exhausted from various goings-on and work that I came home, put on my gym togs, sat and stared at my email (literally stared, didn't read, didn't do anything) for about 20 min, then went upstairs to bed for 2 hrs. So it was a bust as far as training.

Sort of in a little slump w/ my often-recurring theme the last few yrs of not allowing myself to actually get excited about something (e.g. New Years) and then have it fall apart so I expect I may stay home and do not much. .... Kinda sux, shitty attitude, but I seem to keep gettign shot down when even the smallest thing to look forward to starts to look like it would be fun.

On the lighter side, there's a chance I may go to Barcelona in February for an industry trade show. That could be very cool indeed.

New Year's eve is one of those night that is always way hyped up...I can't count the number of times I've been out amidst a zillion people not being able to catch a cab and wished I had been smart enough to stay home, curled up in PJs & watching the ball drop on tv. So you really may be better off!!

And I loved my vacation in Barcelona, so that is plenty to look forward to!
