What's up everyone,
I've been doing some serious weight training this summer and soon want to start working in running (3-4 days a week). I'm training to play soccer next spring. I need to start running to work on my endurance...but when I run on concrete (pavement) my shins kill! My Heel started hurting on one foot, and my feet feel like they're cramping up a bit. Even my knees start to ache. What's up with that? I was wondering if you have any tips on running...what I can do to get rid of these pains. In the winter I'll be jogging on an indoor track at the YMCA. Maybe the surface will be more forgiving? I can't run on anything but the track or concrete because I'm right smack in the middle of the city. Any help would be much appreciated!
