Red welps all around injection site

This is my first cycle. I am doing 1/4 cc Tokkyyo EQ with a 25g 5/8 needle twice a week in the delts. I'm just starting week 4 and I have gotten what looks like red blisters that are warm to the touch on my last two injections. The first blister is about gone. There does seem to be a small pocket of fluid around the injection site but not like a lump, more spread out.
I am not super lean around my arms, is it possible I'm going sub-q? Any help would be great.....BBSweet

I don't know about injectin AS. (I'm fairly new to this site and taking in info) but I am a nurse and very experienced with needles and injections. A 5/8 " needle is generally used for subcutaneous injections. It sounds like you are giving yourself sq injections. This could end up giving you an abcess at the injection site, or result in nonabsorption if what you were injecting was supposed to be IM. The correct needle size is important when injecting IM. In the Delt a needle should be a mimimun of 1", and in the glut 1.5". Because I don't know the specifics about injectiong AS, I wouldn't be able to advise you on the best site for the injections.
