Night time treats

When I bought mine, I just emptied out the oil on top because I figured it was all nasty fat and stuff. While the PB was a little dryer and stiffer, it was still good. My question, though, is did I reduce the amount of fat and thus the calorie count for a 2 Tbsp. serving if I emptied out the oil on top, and if so, any idea by how much? Thanks in advance for your response(s).

shit I did the same thing. but after a day, more oil just goes back up. I guess I'm supposed to keep that oil in there huh?

lol yes!
the oil is as beneficial as olive oil
it is another monosaturated fat
i sometimes take a tablespoon of cold pressed roasted peanut oil instead of flax
gotta have alittle variety
eat you lean stuff if you want just add a half an avocado

I normally eat either almonds OR tuna with egg whites mixed with salsa

Yesterday I tried cottage cheese with a TBSP of natty PB and salsa...I've had better

If you pour the oil off the top of NATTY pb you ARE reducing the kcal content, typically a TBSP of oil has about 120 kcals. So if you pour off 2 TBSP's that is about 240 less kcals. But as obiwan mentioned above, it is nice unsaturated fats. Unsaturated fats still have 9 kcals per gram though.

I'm with hateCrunches an the egg white/no-fat cheese omlette at night. I also love choc protein shakes blended with ice and Keto Cocoa.

If you buy the store brand npb its about $1.99 per jar - A&P sells the chunky npb - its def. one of the cheapest on the shelf.
