1 tablet.. im 230lbs, do u think i need more then 1 tablet to feel relaxed? i was in a bad car accident yesterday and my buddy hooked me up with some vicodin.. said it would help my leg feel better...

One should be fine, if you're still feeling hurt....it wont kill you to take another. I hope you feel better bro.

thanks guys.. i was letting a chick drive my truck and it was raining, she went around a curve too fast.. into a tree at about 40mph.. so im pretty sore. trucks totalled most likely.

i know how you feel, the same thing happened to me last sun. with my friend-- his car though, we veered to avoid someone and hit a telephone pole. Hope you're doing allright and ure workout doesn't suffer like mine has (i've lost 7 pounds mostly muscle.) You didn't get anything prescribed? All I got was cataflam (NSAID) and NorFlex (Muscle relaxant) it sucks. With vics at ure weight i'd say try two, but maybe skip one dosage period to see how you feel without the pain killers, if there's not too much pain then it's a sign that working out won't hurt your body too much. If this is the case and thetre is only mild discomfort, u may be able to (not recommended i'm sure) workout on one vic, but make sure u have a spotter. Good luck recovering and with the insurance processs to follow.

You didn't have to explain bro. All you had to say was "I was letting a chick drive my truck."

Yeah that's all the explaination we need lol.

Hope you feel better, I would take another one if that one doesn't kick in in about an hour after you take it, maybe 45 minutes.

Two minimum bro, and at your weight I'd start with three. For pain I've used as much as 6 at once, but that was after several days of consecutive use when I had already built a higher tolerance. The thing with vicodins (and all painkillers for that matter) is that one builds a tolerance to them almost instantaneously, so that by day 2 or 3 of consecutive use, you won't feel any pain releif or euphoria from the dose that seemed ideal just several days before. That's why it's best advised to use it for no more than 2-3 days in a row, and it would be ideal to follow that with a 4-7 day break, so that you don't get dependent upon them and when you do use them again, you can use a similar dosage without having to use more to obtain similar effects as the initial one. With all that said, the first time I was prescribed vic's for pain about 2 years ago following surgery, I took 2 and felt great, but at that time I was only 190 lbs. And the following day after taking two, the effects were blunted already!

Recently, I disclocated my thumb and was prescribed some more once again and after taking 2, felt hardly anything. Bumped it up to 3 and all was well. So bodyweight is indeed a factor in dosing, since I am now around 215 lbs.
