Well, there's a jack with a pin on the side, and you choose your optimal bar height by jacking it up or down and then putting the pin in place. The, the arms that hold the bar go in and out so that someone with a narrow grip can have the arms out wide, and someone like me who grabs the bar at the collars can have the arms in...so they're out of the way. For example, I like "10 middle" on most monolifts. This kid obviously has a wide grip for his size...so he's probably a middle or in too. -35 meaning that bar is REALLY low!
