right now i have post workout, 25 grams of whey protein from "eas simply whey protein" with 1 cup of milk in the blender, 5 g of l-glutamine, and 5 g of creatine. i get my carbs from yogurt which has like 40 g of sugar carbs. is this ok or should i try honey, if so how much?? and just in the blender witht he shake?

why not just get a shake like maximuscle's cyclone??
2 scoops gives you:

50g dextrose

50g of Biomax whey protein

10g of Creatine Monohydrate

4g of glutamine peptides

3000mg of HMB

500mg of Alpha Lipoic Acid

or you can take 1 scoop, if you dont want this much raw power in one shake!!!!!

damn would have to say that looks like a mighty nice postworkout shake. Though I don't think HMB works enough to merit bothering w/ it.

wow - thats a nice post workout shake ! although the creatine will start to go wasted. you cant ingest 10g of creatine EVERY post workout - it will just be pissed right out. Your muscles have a limit of creatine storage.

Fuck the honey+the lactose. Try dextrose . lactose is not as high gi as dextrose or maltodextrin. These two seem to be the best so far. If you cannot get these, honey is the next best choice.

lactose is a very slow burning sugar, the opposite of what you need. :smash:

i just use the milk because it makes the shake taste better than with water, it isnt hurting me at all is it?
