Goddamned kegs ...

Well, I think I may have pulled a muscle lifting up kegs at work. My lower back doesn't hurt right now, but if I turn, or bend down, or do anything the wrong way ... OUCH. Looks like I'm out of the gym for a week or two ... (yeah, it's not a horrible pull, but it hurts. As most of you probably know, I'm still a little bitch compared to most of you guys. ...) Oh well. I was hitting a wall. Maybe this will help.
 
My back has hurt for a few weeks...and I still trained. Don't take 2 weeks off...train around it. Strengthen your abs, hams, hips, etc...don't take time off.

If I were you....I wouldn't automatically assume that you had to take off in the gym. Try to train around it at first and if it doesn't go away, you may just have to take off. Just don't be stupid and continue to train with it, when deep down you know you shouldn't be working out. Not every injury can be worked around...
 
that sucks

you might make it worst if you train, take a week off, try to hit up a pool, swim or hot tubs it will help. You rather be out for 2 weeks then for 2 months you know, just know your limits, don't train anything if it hurts your back.
