CKD diet so far...

Noob Eh

New member
Started yesterday..,I work out after work 5:30ish...having only under 20 grams of carbs and sticking with my regular routine, half way through I was done...ready to throw up :P

Anyways, today...only half way through also... loss of energy...my body is not used to it yet.

I will tell you this though...I am already seeing results in the mid-section from only 2 days...I have no doubts the fat will drop yet I am going to have to change/alter my routine as the intensity is too much for my body, that or...I will have to ease into it again until the body becomes acustom to it's new fuel :)

I will keep you posted...any tips on others doing or have done this diet...please post here, I would like to hear.

I usually use caffeine preworkout to help my body acclimate to the change in energy source.

Make sure you are getting enough calories, eating all that fat and protein can make you *feel* like your are eating more than you actually are. Give it a week or two and you will adjust.

Overhead is right, you way wish to spend a couple of weeks adapting to ketosis and not restrict your caloric intake at all, until you are adapted. You may loose bodyfat anyways for a few weeks on unlimited calories. Its not uncommon when you first go into ketosis to do so eating as much as you want. 90% of people have adapted by week 3, and your workouts should return to normal.
