This study may shed some light on why the above post says he loses vascularity when taking ibuprofen. It decreases VEGF levels quite effectively.

the test was only conducted with ibuprofen and acetiminophen, but it's possible that all NSAIDs have the same issue with decreasing skeletal muscle growth and repair.s
