Yowza! ATF squats rock!

And boy is my bootay sore! I tried them out last nite for a change in leg routine. I absolutely love the pumped feeling I got! I feel a little tightness and soreness right smack dab in the middle of my glutes too.

Yaaay! Whoo hoo! You rock! Are they not just a THRILL! I remember the first time I did them - I felt like the king of the castle! (Well, the queen, but whatever).

I had to dump a lot of weight, but when you work back up again, boy do you feel strong, because you know the jerk in the corner doing 3 plates a side for an inch or two couldn't do what you're doing ALL the way down. Ha HAH!

Isnt that the truth!? A young feller who is a frequent vistor to the gym asked me after I got done, "Why didnt you go heavy like you have before?" He didnt believe me when I told him that any heavier might hurt, so I invited him to try them out. Hah! He could get maybe 4reps at the weight I did 10!:p Young whippersnapper will believe me from now on. Anyhoo, I feel a deep soreness starting to settle in, so I thinks me better do some AR in the a.m.

SW - oh yea, I had to dump weight too which kinda stunk b/c at the time I was dumping weight on everything else too to learn all the OL technique - but now that the weight is slowly coming back up - YEAHH!! Yup, I think they are yet another move I do in my retirement home/spa gym that makes ppl think I'm outta my mind!
