Which brand or type of tuna had the high mercury?

Does Bumblebee tuna have the high amounts of mercury that was recently discovered?

I used to eat a lot of tuna (amout 1 can a day) but havent had ANY in the last month and im having trouble with some meals in the day to replace the tuna that i used to have. It usually ends up being high in carbs.........but anyway,


Which tuna is "safe" or low mercury enough to eat ED?

and it does not depend on the brand

it depends on the fish origin (where it was caught)

But canned tuna has less mercury than big fresh tuna
 
if i remember correctly it was the larger albacore tunas to watch out, and that was only if eating 4+ cans a day....i wouldn't be too worried over 1 can.
 
The whole tuna and mercury thing is so overblown. As long as you're not living off tuna day in and day out, you're not at risk. Even if you had 2-3 cans a day, which I can't imagine eating on a consistent basis, it shouldn't affect you.
 
Stick to chunk light since that is from the younger fish that have far less mercury concentrations in them. The older fish (i.e. albacore or solid white) have higher concertrations of mercury since they have been around longer. I agree with the above poster who says the whole thing is overblown. A can a day is not going to hurt you.

industry, human activities

All that shit goes to the water, then the smaller fishes and the one than eat those small fishes..... until the tuna eat the contaminated fishes
