You need your veggies for more than just fiber hun..... Find one or two good ones you like & just deal w/ them --- spinach, broccoli, green beans -- green beans are a nice neutral one for me. Spinach is nice occassionally but I feel like I"m a rabbit after a while, broccoli can get brutal on the digestion if you eat it in volume (it has a sugar in it that our bodies don't have a natural enzyme to help break it down, therefore BEANO becomes your next best friend...)
THe thing is, when you start dieting, esp "bodybuilder style", you start to pull variety out of your diet - this includes colorful fruits & veggies that have things like enzymes that help the body shuttle out byproducts of daily body functions. If you let that stuff build up, then it bogs down your general body operation. Part of "fitness" is not just going on restricted diets, but also helping keep your body running efficiently -- this includes things like drinking lots of water, keepign the processed shit to a minimum but also keeping the garbage collection process going -- that's why people rave about things like r-ala (Glucorell) and grape seed extract - fantastic anti-oxidants that will just help keep things running efficiently. Everything we consume (natural stuff, not processed stuff from McDonald's) has a purpose in our body - when you start to restrict the amounts or remove things, then there are holes in the natural on-going input / output flow of things.
