training in ketosis what type of cardio is better HIIT or 70 75% @ MHR?

I am use to doing a ketogenic diet. It's great and have lost some fat and made way better muscle gains. -- i don't have any dairy either anymore!(EFA oil is good) i only have about 5 or so pounds i want to lose! i used to have cheat days/ carb up days. it seemed to stop working so i tried 2 weeks and i finally lost a bit more..i'm aiming for a month now maybe 3 weeks cause my birthday is comingi hate cheat days! I have been doing double cardio 4-5 x a week too.(for th last week and a half) but what type of cardio!? HIIT - for 20 30 mins or mod. intensity for 40 - 60 mins? i'm harsh confused about that. I feel healthier than ever!! michelle
how long should i stay in ketosis- as long as i want?
 
I'll tell you this out of my own personal experience. Ketosis is good, but don't try staying in ketosis for too long. I tried that and it drops your leptin levels too much. Eventually you will come to a plateau and wonder what the hell is going on. I myself came to a plateau after having pretty much no carbs each day. I then did a carb up and the next day, lost a half inch off my waist and felt WAY more solid. Let me tell you, it feels great to see that kind of improvement. I'm not that fat either, probably about 12-13% BF. When you do carb ups, the one thing you should not do is mix Fat with Carbs, something you never want to do. Anyways, I usually do a variety of different cardio programs. Try going one day vigerous for about 30 min then one day low paced at 45+ min if you can. Remember, the more vigerous the cardio, the more carbs it will end up burning but also raise your heart rate more and get you in better shape.
 
thanks anybody belse! why does everyone slash this diet. Oh and i had a cheat meal last night nacho's and mud pie... so tired from it...i felt drugged up! when id do that do i jump out of ketosis and if so can i get back into it fast!

hey and what does my body use instead of glycogen when doing high intensity cardio or weights (anaerobic)
 
ive tryed this diet . it works well but i get sick of looking flat . so i changed it a little protein 1.5 grams per lb bodyweight ,starch carb oatmeal first thing mornin salad made up ,to last 3 meals with 3 tablespoons flax oil 2 sweet potatoes and the rest . pre work out oatmeal last meal steak ,
mixed stir fry and maybe another protein drink before bed . all meals have protein .


i weigh a lean 230 lbs bf 10 % = 350 grams protein

starch carbs = 200

this diet works well increase your starch carbs just a little
