Lately I can barely make it through my regular workouts. I'm tired ,really burnt out. I don't party or even drink alcohol for that matter, but working alot and stressed at work. When I get to the gym after my warm ups I have so much nausea, I gotta leave before I puke. Should I take a week off training and rest up or really lighten up on my workouts? Anybody else experience nausea as a result of exhaustion?

Get yourself checked out. You could have a viral infection. I recently contracted mono, and although nausea is not associated with mono, there are plenty of other viral infections around.

I have had nausea for a couple of weeks now as a result of recent illness. I think mine is related to stress and anxiety which it sounds like you may have. Nausea can often be related to stress and it manifests itself in gastro related problems.

Have a blood test though to check that it's not a viral infection and then rest up for a week or two.

I have been feeling the same way lately. The semester is starting tomorrow and I am nervous because I am teaching 4 classes, plus working on a thesis, and balancing course work. My appetite is shot. I am thinking about taking some time off from the gym so I can adapt to my new schedule. It sounds to me like you have some anxiety. Like you, I get nauseated and I feel like I need to leave the gym. Right now, my head is a little scrambled up. I wish you luck. My advice is just take time off of training until your stress levels diminish. Thats what I am doing.

Yeah, you guys are right. I'm not PRESENTLY stressed, but the last two weeks have been hell at work. I'm one of those people who have a delayed reaction to things and I think that it's just hitting me now that I have some down time. It's hard to admit that you need time off from lifting, especially when I've made some good gains. But I suppose that a good rest will do me some good and will probably be back in there with more energy after some time off. It's hard to be working hard and lifting hard. Good luck with your new schedule - it sounds tough, but I'm sure you'll be fine and back in the gym in no time.
