I've been reading all the threads on DC training, 5x5 training WS training and everything, and sorry for another post like this but:), Strictly for strength gain, and not hypertrophy, which type of training do you think would be the most effective? I was using repitition methods for awhile, now im doing 5x5, but from what im reading it sounds like DC may be the best for my goals. Any other opinions? I'm sure its not a big difference but, posting wouldn't hurt so.. :)

All you have to do to get hypertrophy is simply add more fatigue to the muscle. This can be done weather you use higher reps or lower reps by simply altering the rest period between sets. Personally I like the low rep appreach with long rest periods to work CNS (ie strength) then after a couple sets of that I will drop the weight a bit and repeat low rep sets but cut rest period to 30 seconds which will bring in fatigue and with it more hypertrophy.

As a DC trainer, I must say that WSB would be your best choice, especially if you want hard core strength.

WSB training is popular amongst powerlifters.
