This is a joke right????? Blood and a pump wouldn't last long at all, I agree.......but who's to say that it isn't genuine swelling just like you get when you, for instance, twist your ankle???? That is the type of swelling that Bfold is talking about......your body uses it to protect damaged body parts. Also, just like bfold, I get very noticable swelling that stays with me for a few days after I bench heavy. I don't claim it as a genuine increase in size though.

If he still has that extra half an inch in 3 weeks, once he has hopefully repaired allof that damage he has done to the muscle, then you might be warranted in making your claims.
 
Pain is very small now (it's been 6 days). There is no more swelling, and I am now just beginning to grow. I am going to give it until monday before I post results, but the results are not very good thus far.
 
Just curious...but if your arms were that sore...how did you train chest, back, and legs this week? What about shoulders?

Sadly, all I did was squats with a smith machine. I could not use my arms at all, it even hurt just to lift a glass of water to my mouth. I guess that is the major turn off of doing this.
 
Final Results:
0.15 inchs in biceps and I had to take a week off of lifting to heal. Not wroth it in my opinion. I had alot of pain and got very sick from doing this.

Still SOME GAINS are better than none.


I guess you should have used 2x the amount of sets.
 
0.15 inches is in the error of the measurement........I doubt that there is anybody who can reliably measure their bi's tothat level of accuracy.

Twice the number of sets?????!!!! Ok I wont go there.......

Good gosh...that is just flat out ridiculous.

There is no way I would go through that much pain for a .15 in growth in my arms. I can't afford to sacrifice a weeks worth of working out, either...

ARE you a bodybuilder??? Then you should do anything to GROW AND GROW!


No pain, no gain.



Taking a week off training wont do much harm. Howeever you WILL grow biceps, rather than spending that week and not growing.

And last time I looked female bodybuilding wasn't just about being huge......
