so I started 5x5
warmup 135x8, 225x8, 5x5 with 295. No real problems but did have to rest a little between set 4 ad 5.

SLDL 225 for 2 sets of 8, not bad I wil get 10 reps next time and the week after go up

leg ext 150, 2 sets for 10 reps. easy but got a nice pump from these

4x10 with calf raises, 200lbs nice and easy.

all in all not too bad, I actually like just doing 5 reps since it was real easy to work on form. I think 295 was just right to start off with and will go up next week

why are you doing 5x5s for only squats-- & not the SLDLs, extensions..etc???

(sorry if this question is obvious-- just seems like you should be consistent on your lifts???)

check the sticky at the top of the page, all will become clear...

Squats are the core excercise there. The other excercises are just supplementary and a thus treated as such. (also if you did 5x5 on every ex in the routine you'd burn out very quick).

I figure about 8-12 weeks, then I will start my 6x2 CNS program again then back to 5x5 if everthing works out
