On the nutrition facts, it included the daily percentages of calories and stuff for both cereal and for cereal with 1/2 cup skim milk.

It says their are 7 grams of protein, but did they include the milk in this?

I know that wouldn't make any sence, but I'm just trying to be sure.
 
I just started my special K diet. I hope this works. Its a very easy cost effictive diet.

I eat a bowl for breakfast and one for lunch.
Snacks - apple - cashews
Dinner- Grilled chicken sandwich and a side. (had beef stew last night)


Ill post me 1st week results when the time comes. Im not working out tho atm, because im going to the orthopedic the 27th for my knees.

i'd cut the apple too. nuts are good if your breakfast and lunch are mostly carbs.

the only reason that diet works, for the most part, is because it limits you towards a 2,000 calorie diet.

assume you eat 1 cup with milk and fruit. thats like 250 calorie breakfast, which is awful.

but, they factor in that you drink soda or juice regularly and since you're fat, your dinner is calorie heavy.

so... 500 calories of special k meals, 300 calories of soda, 300 calories of snacks and a 800 calorie dinner, pulls you around 1900 calories.

it works because you're in a deficit. simple as that.
 
Kachi go lean is probably the best cereal you can eat. its amazing how much sugar they pack in "kid cereals" these days. Yet, I see parents in the grocery store buying 2 boxes of captain crunch and 1 box of lucky charms.
