I am going back and forth over whether or not to lift tomorrow. First let me give some brief stats.
Male, 26, 200.5 lbs, 14% body fat, never used gear, been lifting at least three times per week for about a year, with 14 years of lifting experience before that. Since September I have put on 32 pounds from 168.5 at 7% bf. I am a mesomorph so I put on muscle as easily as I shed fat. My nutrition is nearly perfect (now that the holidays are over), high carb, low sat. fat, some unsat. fat, high protein (including whey, egg albumen and casein before bed), plenty of water, creatine, arginine, and vitamins.
It has been 72 hrs. since my last pull day (lats, biceps, rhomboids, rear deltoids, traps) and yesterday was a push day. My biceps, lats, and rear delts are still slightly sore. I want to lift tomorrow which will be a 96 hour break, but if they are still a little sore tomorrow, I will be hesitant. However, I want to make Sunday my legs/abs day to give my uppper body a break before another push day on Monday. By the way, today is Friday and I'm not lifting.
Should I do a pull day tomorrow (Saturday) or wait another day till Sunday, making my push day Monday and switch legs/abs to Saturday?
