Goal ... potentially do the NPC Eastern Seaboard figure competition in ATL - May 13, 2007. I'm just as happy if I don't make it but pursue the goal anyway.
Diet

This came up like 800 cals short & I'm not really sure why... was supposed to be around 2200 cals. Meal 1 was short just due to lack of planning so probably the big culprit...
Meal 1: 8:30 am
4 oz turkey patty
1 plum
Meal 2: 11 am
6 oz (before cooked) chicken
1 Granny Smith apple
Meal 3: 2 pm
6 oz buffalo (before cooked)
1/2 c brown rice
1 c veggies - broccoli & peas mix
Meal 4: 5 pm
same as 2
Meal 5: 9 pm
6 oz buffal (before cooking)
2 c broccoli
1 tbsp flax
Totals: 1464 cals 47% protein / 26% fat / 27% carb
Training:

AM: 25 min recumbant bike HIIT (5 min warm up, 2 min cool down)
PM: wohoo LEG DAY! (first in 2 months, a bit experimental still...)
6 min elliptical warm up
Quads - all w/ 20 sec or less between sets, haul ass to next exercise ---
- leg xt: 85/15 100/15 80/12 x 3
- leg press: 45^3/12 x 3
- DB squats: 35/12 x 3
- Hacks: 25/12 35/12 45/12
Hams: same sequence
- Lying leg curls: 65/12 75/12 60/12 x 3 -- gotta watch these .. enemy of the knees
- seated leg curls: 85/12 100/12 x 2
- DB SLDLs: 25/12 x 2 -- these suck
- GMs: bar/20 bar+10/15 bar+25/12
- walking lunges + 45 degree hyperextension: body/20 + body/15 x 3
Walking lunges seem to be ok, adding in the hyperextension burns my ass which I need desperately. I"ll look at the 90 degree hypers next round.
Spent a couple minutes posing for shits & grins. Can't help the routine work.
Mood: MUCH better than this weekend. It was evil this weekend. Just evil. Better by tonite.
