question about shakes

If you had to wait for a week till you get more protien shakes, would you eat tons and stop lifting for a week and prevent muscle breakdown or would you lift and just eat as much in protien as you could? or what about lifting light then for a week,

I pay 62.99 for prolab whey at a grocery store, 5lbs, lasts me almost 2 weeks. only place I can find it, shit i$ expensive!!!!

Not even gonna mention milk ...

definatly dont stop lifting just because you dont have shakes, there are plenty of huge guys out there who dont use shakes, and there were big guys before shakes were around.

try dpsnutrition.com or something

get the optimum whey 10 lb bag

Really this is a silly question.

Shakes are used only for supplement. If you are out of protein powder and etc, just eat a lot of food. Its that simple.

Why would there be any reason to stop lifting?

First of all...you're paying way too much for your prot...I like Optimum Nutrition at about $5 per lb and you can get it in 10lb bags. The Pro-Complex is more expensive but I like to use it for my late night shake.

If you're out of prot just crank up the whole foods...canned tuna, chicken breasts, milk, cottage cheese, and lowfat yogurt are good cheap prot sources. You should be getting most of your prot from whole foods anyway and using shakes for supplements and quick fixes.
