6'4" 225lbs app.13%-15% bf, haven't checked it recently. I normally workout at 5:30am-6am

5:30am pre-workout-1 scoop protein+1cup oatmeal

7:30-8ampost workout/breakfast- protein shake (2 scoops protein,1 cup oatmeal, 1 banana, 1 tablespoon pb), 3-4 scrambled eggs (1 yolk), 1 slice toast w/ pb.

10am-chicken breast or ground beef burger patty w/ 1 can V8 juice or small zip lock bag full of veggies

12pm-chicken breast, hamburger or tuna sandwich w/veggies

2pm-3pm-protein shake (1 scoop protein/1/2 cup oatmeal 1 tablespoon pb)

5pm-hamburger (ground beef home made burgers) w/ 1 can V8 or veggies

7-9pm dinner- steak or chicken with veggies

before bed protein shake (1-2 scoops protein)

I would like to get to 230 lbs and then cut down the bf to 10%

So whats the goal here bro? You wanna get from 225 to 230, then cut? If so then you wish to bulk first, I take it?

This diet wont work for a bulk at all bro. You need to

1. Work out your maintenance calories (ur a big guy so its gonna be 3000 cals +)
2. Decide on the daily amount of calories you need to bulk (probably 5000+)
3. Adjust your diet and makros accordingly.
4. Put all the food in your day into fitday.com to get total cals and a breakdown of fat/carbs/protein

Looking at your diet you need to add in a lotta carbs (add clean carbs to every meal except the last one ofthe day), cut down on the whey and sub for real food.. lose the V8- this is no replacement for fibrous green veg.

Post work out just stick to whey/ oatmeal/ banana - lose the PB as it will slow absorption of the protein. Then eat a solid meal 30 minutes after that.

The cleaner you eat the less fat you will put on, ie low GI carbs, low saturated fat, low salt, lean meats etc.

The diet you posted would definately be better suited to cutting I think

thanks bro. I will lose the pb with the shakes. I bought a case of v8 juice last week. Haven't been drinking those that long, but I will drop them, I still have 1/2 of the case left...my parents love them...I will give them to the old man for his bloody mary's. Went and got a juicer last night so that the veggies are a little easier to take in during the day while I am at work. I will replace the 2pm shake with either a chicken breast or a ground beef patty.

I keep track of what I eat, my maint. cal's is at 4050 but I am taking in about 5000 cals ed. I will check out the fitday.com website, I had never heard of it. Thanks for the input, really appreciate it!

cool bro - Check your diet on Fitday for sure - I cant see how the diet you listed is gonna give you 5000 cals unless the portions are HUGE!

They are big. I shop at Costco ( a warehouse store ) the ground beef burgers that I make are pretty damn big and so are the steaks that I eat! My lady is amazed at the amount of food I put down sometimes.

Well check it at fitday - I think you may be su1rprised that you are under maintenance calories- ur diet contains hardly any carbs.
