I visit elite fitness boards on a daily basis, and have learned a tremendous amount of information that I did'nt even have any idea of before, and I can actually see results now! I used to be one of those cardio bunnies that ran for 90 min a day and only lost 4 lbs in 3 months. I started reading this board and decided to get a personal trainer and start lifting. I needed the trainer to show me the proper form and also to push me when I wanted to stop because I do not like the pain associated (who does??) I lost 26 lbs in 3 months (went from 6'1 at 206 llbs to 180lbs )and realized that I wasted so much time on the treadmills.
I was bored today and went to some other "fitness boards" and started reading them. These people are offering the wrong information!!!! Most of the threads I saw was people who had no idea about what they were talking about, and was offering advise like: "To lose wieight just walk, and try not to eat fast food" wtf????? or ("A soda a day does'nt hurt just dont drink a two liter":shocked) I could'nt believe my eyes! And all of the fitness boards I visited were like this. Looking at it kind of made me mad. I am so glad I came to this board first and appreciate all of the information that everyone gives here!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. this is probably the only serious hardcore fitness board on the whole web....
