Hehe I've done that with tequila too... love good margaritas! Don't worry, for the most part I drown my sorrows in the gym. It's my stress relief and it also allows me to sleep at night.

1/03/05 (Today will have to be the real start :))

Got a late start eating since have the day off.

10:30:
1 cup OJ
2 eggs over easy
1 slice multigrain toast

3:30:
4oz meatballs in marinara w/ tsp. parmesan/romano cheese

4pm:
2cups coffee (half and half w/equal)

6pm:
5 crackers w/ 2tbsp all natural peanut butter

10:30:
8 oz chicken breast marinated in italian dressing
1 cup green beans


Totals:
Cal 1241
Fat 58 (a bit over on fat today)
Carb 74
Protein 110

3/4 gallon water

Supplements:

ThymuPlex (for immune system, trying to get rid of cold I've had for 3 weeks)

Training:
Won't be going to gym tonight. Still trying to recover from this cold. Hopefully this is the last day I have to forfeit. I got a lot of rest during this past weekend and having today off to rest helped too.

I probably won't be posting pics... I'll be taking them weekly for my own knowledge and for comparison. I don't mind how I look now or anything like that, just decided not to post pics in forums. If I change mind mind I will post the entire progression.

8am:
2 eggs scrambled

9:45am:
Grande iced coffee (half&half + equal)

11:15am:
Cottage Cheese Doubles (can't gag it down without the fruit :rolleyes: )

1:30pm:
Turkey Sandwich - 4oz turkey breast on 2 slices multigrain bread w/spicy mustard.

2:45pm:
Coldbuster Smoothie (gave in, but made my throat feel better... I'll just try to avoid carbs for the rest of the day)

7:30pm:
1 scoop Syntrax Nectar Whey Protein Isolate

10:00pm:
1 can solid white tuna
1 tbsp mayo
5 crackers

Totals:
Calories 1471
Fat 43
Carbs 158
Protein 126

Ugghhh.... that damn smoothie blew my diet today. My own fault.

Still fighting this cold. I think it's taking a turn now. I've moved from stuffed up to runny nose and sore throat. Hopefully this is the end! Regardless I'm going to the gym tomorrow.

Right now I'm trying to fight of the urge to go get a smoothie from Amazon Cafe. This cold just makes me want one and my throat is starting to hurt. I may go try to get a small one with the least amount of carbs (also one just with ice and no sherbert or yogurt). Or I may just continue to fight myself all afternoon.

Just my 2 cents..... I find when I have a "craving" that it's better to allow myself a small portion of what I want -- otherwise I binge later...... Don't know if you're like this or not......Like you said, have a small one and pick the healthiest....
