Yeah doctor's famous last words when they don't know what to do...
It's not in your head!!!! I can't believe after this amount of time they don't have you fully recovered!! It's been a year now hasn't it?
WOW

1 year since the accident (Feb 1st) and it'll be 1 year since surgery April 1st....dunno what "normal" is regarding ACL graft surgery but from what I've heard from others is that you're not back to "normal" (and that's regular, slightly active people normal) till 1 year or more from surgery, so since I'm an "athlete" of sorts maybe my recovery is just longer?? :whatever: So I'll mention it & I'm sure get some smart-assed remark & after the 7th Circle of Hell week this is been I won't be in the mood for his bullshit... :redhot:

So I skipped the gym & ate a cookie tonite......a BIG cookie......and had drinks with dinner.....*sigh*

Let me know what is said... curious!!
I think still your knee should be better then what it is... Just a thought.
You had the muscle development there and there should be no reason that an athlete wouldn't recocver faster then the couch potato who may have had tha same surgery. I mean look at my mom she has had 2 full knee replacements. Her knees bother her at times, but her recovery and flexibility was regained within 4 months!!! And my mother has a LOT,, o.k. LOT of health issues and does not work-out. I just think your PT may have been what's to blame, or the doctor who did the surgery.... I have had some crappy PT. You have to be agressive in your own recovery. I think massage would have helped and can still help get more mobility back into that knee.
Sorry your dealing with this and your bad week :rose:

This week has been the 7TH CIRCLE OF HELLLLLLL!!!!!!!! :redhot: Or whatever is worse than that......

Thankfully my boss took us out for lunch today & we got to leave early but I've resorted to indulging last nite & tonite cuz I'm just fried......Made a good amount of mistakes with the Accts Payable stuff (BIG mistakes!!) so that didn't help my stress.....Normally the gym helps relieve my stress - but this week it didn't help at all!

As for the knee......saw my Orthopedist today & he checked both my knees & said there is "nothing he's worried about." Use Advil, etc for the achiness and Blue Emu.......I have full mobility but the lack of strength in my right leg just never allowed for rotation-type activity, ie skiing.....he also seems to think quad imbalance is causing the achiness.....He said I'm allowed to do modified leg extensions now so maybe that will help........As for the massage - I still would like to do it, but just never have made the appt as I just don't want to be out at night till 7pm.....

As for the orthopedist also - as far as he's concerned, I'm done.....don't need to see him anymore unless I have an issue.....

Hope you didn't miss me tooooo much this weekend

*I* got a makeover today.....Aveda was doing a free makeover day today & the girl did something different with my makeup that is really cool!! Purple mascara & green/purple/blue/brown combo eyeshadow....sounds weird but it looked really good, so I bought the colors & took pics to remember how it was done....

Oh and went to Costco for more supplies.....so I was busy!

Took my 1st T-rex today in a loooooong time......had a headache most of the day but the appetite suppression kicked in which was nice......

Got a new pair of workout pants at Walmart today too - they rang up as $1.00!!!! :dance2:

While I was there I got the off-brand of Blue Emu - it's a gluc/chon/msm + Emu oil blend and I put it on my knees and MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM feels gooooood!! ;)
