is oil or peanut butter necessary for cutting?

Hello bro's
this is my first post here on the diet board (i have been posting on the aas board). My question is simple do i need to add peanut butter or oil in my diet in order to "lose" weight. I am already losing weight but I want to know if by adding these items I will speed up the loss of weight

not those mandatory. You need to add EFAs into your diets. Essential Fatty acids, for a variety of reasons, including that they will help you lose fat as well.

Flax oil
nuts
salmon (actually, cold water fish will work).

peanut butter is only an example

i have been cutting up pretty nicely, and I eat very clean, but I dont have any prob with libido or energy levels. I will occasionally eat some nuts like peanuts a cashews but not religiously like "pintoca" in his diet. SO my question is if I add the oil/nuts will this actually speed up fat loss, or is the oil only necessary for energy...etc

are you saying you are on a very low fat diet right now? it will work for a while, but eventually your body will plateau (this happens with any diet, really)

if you start to stall, play with your macronutrient ratios by lowering your carb intake and upping your fat intake, while staying within your same caloric range. you'll probably find that you feel full longer with more fat in your diet, and it does help energy levels. A lot of people eat really low fat during the day and then suppliment at night (before bed) with a couple of tablespoons of EFA, nuts, or PB.

If you are asking if you need FATS in general then yes, FAT for Males boost testosterone production, so eat em up!

2 tablespoons = 210 cals also, so it helps hit those calorie numbers.

BUT GET those FATs in bro, all i know is my libido sucks w/ no fat.

Fats with lignans and PUF's in general do not boost test levels, in fact have shown quite the opposite.

Lignans are a special plant fiber found in flaxseed. And PUF's, polyunsaturated fats.

Interesting you say you have read the opposite, yet don't know what these are? :)

I have been posting about keeping fats up for test levels, but these type fats are not the type that does it.
