I'm really starting to despair about this.....

I am really getting discouraged coming up with a new routine. My old one worked well, but I just seem to be stagnet in my gains over the past few weeks, so I think its time for a change.

Here was my routine:
Legs
Chest
Back
Tri's
Bi's
Shoulders/rear delts
Traps


Here's the only real new one I can come up with:

Legs
Chest
Back
OFF
Shoulders/Traps/rear delts
Arms
OFF

Anyone help here? Whith the new one, doing tri's with shoulders, and then doing tri's again the day after, just looks like its going to kill me. Im not sure. I just really frusterated with it.
 
are you changing the exercises you do? the order you do them within your workout? volume of sets or reps per set? speed of reps?

In the old routine? Yes, I changed exercises, speeds, number of reps all the time. i just feel I need a new one.
 
If your Tri's are still sore day after then dont do them .. its not gona make things better. Give them tiem to recover..unles your on 5grams of juice or so.lol
 
I do this one:

Chest/tries
Quads
Shoulders
Hamstrings/calves
Back/Biceps
Off
Cardio/calves/abs (if I feel like it)

I like splitting up the leg workouts and having a day to just do shoulders.
 
M - shoulders/calves/abs
T - quads/hams
W -arms/calves/abs if needed
Th - chest
F - back/traps/another lagging muscle group if needed
S - off
S - off

*cardio as needed/if any
