What would you say my intake would be if I am 5'9 140pounds, Not sure the BF anymore. Measurments 37.26.34 I work out consistently with weights and cardio. I am looking to cut up pretty nicely without starving myself. I'm hypoglycemic.

Calories: __g?
Carbs: __g?
Sugars__g?
etc?

BF is really important in giving more than just an educated guess, since muscle is metabolically active whereas fat is not...

The fact that you are Hypoglycemic will have an impact on the the amount/timing of carbs your diet should include. I would strongly recommend you visit your Dr for this.

BTW, are you somebody else? this post is VERY similar to one in the past.

1.5 g protein per pound/bodyweight

1-1.5g carbs per pound/bodyweight

Consume an adequate amount of healthy fats. Fish oil supp should help do the trick.

There are 4 calories in one gram of protein and carbs.

There are 9 calories in one gram of fat.

This should help you work out your total calorific intake...

Please note though this is just a very rough guideline - there are alot of other factors that also need to be considered.

Good luck

Hm... no, but that's interesting there may be someone like me. As far as my BF. Last time I checked I was at 19% and that was before my recent diet/exercise lifestyle started. I'll check in today at work.

The main thing to keep in mind is no alcohol, sugar, or white flour. This will put your diet in the toilet faster than anything else for a Hypoglycemic, usually 2 fold worse than the average person. You will find your carb intake to be a very personal thing. Insulin secretion and blood sugar reaction varies widely in Hypoglycemics. The majority of people I’ve worked with don't respond optimally to the carb levels I use(I'm also Hypoglycemic) Just keep an eye on it and tweak it in. Let me know how you do. I'm always interested in others who have the same problems.

So does that include natural sugars from fruits?
Alright, another hypoglycemic person. *highfives*

yes...though better than processed sugar its sugar non the less. If your going to eat fruit do it first meal of the day or immediately after workout (reserves will be low on either occasion) this shouldn't be a problem for you. I like to have a 1/2 grapefruit at breakfast. You have to live right :RADAR
