I have had clients that will purchse 50-75k of furniture and furnishings and then demand to know how much the delivery will be for all the items.

I've never been able to get over that - you drop 50k and your dancing over less than 5% of what you just purchased.

Two rules of thumb when asking such questions.

1 - Do not ask questions that you are not prepared to handle the answer to.

2 - Do not ask questions that you already know the answer to.

Just got off the phone with a company that was going to charge me $132 for UPS Ground shipping on a 4lb camera.

That was OK until they said it would also take 2-3 weeks.


We get hosed enough on shipping terms.......we start asking questions.

If I meet someone with LT potential and she asks (I never ask like SA, prolly don't want to know anyway) I just tell her "That's in the past,it's not something I'm proud of, and I'd like to leave it there and start fresh with you. If it really is important I'll tell you, but I'd rather not cloud up the future with the past."

At 36 if a person doesn't have baggage the haven't been alive, and no matter what people say, or how secure they think they are, it is always an issue better left unsaid

I agree with you but home furniture delivery is extremely different from UPS, DHL, FEDEX shipping or furniture freight carriers.

the number of chicks you have had sex with?

I'd imagine that once the number gets too high its a turn off to women, especially initially. How do you get around that? Just never fessing up? Or do you just under estimate?

I've been sexually active 11 years, only had 2 serious long term girlfriends that took up about 2 years each. That leave 7 years of almost casual sex... that can do some damage.

Also, on a side note that is somewhat related... since I'm jumping back into the dating scene I got STD tested. (I used to do this once a year before I got serious with my last girlfriend). Proud to say I am still clean on all counts.
