i know that alot of people said that this wasn't too healthy, but i'm gonna give it a while anyways. i'm also doing it without the flax seed oil b/c my protein already tastes like shit with water and that would make it that much worse. my meals for the day are gonna be 2 scoops of protein w/ water 6 times per day. i'm only plannin on trying this for a couple weeks. and i'm sure after 6 days of it i'll have a cheat day. i'll let you guys know how it turns out...as of this morning i weighed 214.5.
 
this is what i'm gonna be taking in just w/ protein

cals-1320
protein- 264
carbs- 24
fat - 18.

are those carbs low enough to get in ketosis??

also...if it gets too bad will it hurt if i replace 1 protein drink w/ a can of tuna or a chicken breast?
 
hmm i think the idea of that diet is to just eat prot AND fats, if not only for getting at least near you maintenance cals. can you say catabolism. (not meant as a flame just some advice).

I would definetly try to keep the flax in there.
 
you have carbs and protein in there
I would get rid of the carbs if it isn't in your protein (which it is i am pretty sure)
I don't know the carbs would hinder fat loss
but if you gonna have carbs i would just eat some veggies
Like Par Deus said you should use some refeed days
I would have a carb up day like a CKD on the weekend
cuz I'm telling you your gonna crave carbs like fuck
( I cant do Keto diets for more than a week)
and life would suck ahaha IMO
 
Are u kidding? Obviously you have read nothing on keto diets and just jumped into this one because it sounded like a quick fix.
The flax is the most important part of this diet. The fat is what your body runs on. And if u eat more than the recommended protein it just converts to glucose and causes an insulin spike. U will never get into ketosis. Plus, the fat fast is the most extreme keto diet, yet u are still eating carbs,why? U shouldn't be eating any carbs when on a keto diet, but especially on this diet.

Remember, u need the fat!!!! And the flaxseed was chosen specifically becasue of its EFA's since you won't be consuming a 1.5:1 ratio of fat to protein.
 
Personally, I can't do a Keto diet and function like a normal human being. I normally consume about 200g of carbs when I diet and have great success. I typically do two week diet "sprints", the last time I lost 2% body fat in two weeks.
