Do you buy premixed postworkout drinks?

I`m getting a Malto/DEX/Whey mix, Is there anything wrong with that? Is it usually mixed well? I`m just using it for post workout. I hate mixing the stuff while I`m breathing a mile A minute.

What ratio should I get? Is it ok for a 25/25/50 ?
 
I always buy a Size Up 1000. I'm bulking right now, they have 1000 cals, 50 grams or protein and 150 grams of complex carbs. They taste like shit, but hey, what part of what we do is easy?

Complex vs. simple carbs is an outdated concept. GI is considered to be more important. Maltodextrin is EXTREMELY hi GI, in fact, I belive it has the same GI as dextrose.
 
I think he meant that simple carbs are more readily used for glycogen replenishment. High gl and simple carbs are pretty much the same in my head. It's not like complex carbs are bad for ya after you workout, just not ideal. I'm gonna have to shoot you some K BBF, you are always on top of shit helping folks out and giving good advice. Your an asset to the boards.

I try. Someone asked me about why I do it on here once, and I do so out of a sense of obligation. I was really fat when I started training, so giving diet advice is something I feel compelled to do. Once classes start on monday, I'll have a little less time, but will still be on.
 
Yeah, that drink has 40 grams of glycerol which goes right to glycogen replenishment. I stand by my original statement. They are the shit for post workout drinks.
 
I use malto/whey isolate in about 1 hour after ingesting it I get the shakes so I feel this is doing the job.

Bodybyfinnaplix I would have never guessed that you were overweight at one time. I always like reading your post although i was surprised last week about your post on winny but it was funny.
