meh... meet went ok, i performed how i thought i would training for 4-5weeks heavy for this comp. ended up pulling 644, missed 677. Bench i smoked 473, but got 3 reds cause they said i touched too low below sternum, yeah whatever my bench groove has been the same for like 4 years. Second i went 496 and touched high to avoid reds, but being ot of my groove i couldnt lock out the weight. So i had to stay at 496 to not bomb out, i touched in my normal spot (same one that got me reds first time) and smoked it, and got 3 whites lol. weighted in at a MASSIVE 200.8lbs lol, should have went #1 and #2 first, i would have been 198. my push pull total was 1140, not bad for 4 weeks training and barely 200lbs. Best lifter and beat 5 other 220's for first place. i needtogetmyassingear and start training/eating hard again. also i was taking 50mg of drol for 4 weeks up to this meet and i will never EVER take drol again, complete garbage, bp was elevated instantly, headache all day long, and my appetite was non-existent. not to mention i didnt really gain anything from it, maybe some strength but nothing great.
a couple good things that came out of this meet are i know my grip work is really paying off now cause the 677 didnt budge in my hands, felt like holding 500. and 2 just another meet under my belt now, probably over 15 comps now ive done, so the experience is building.
