Cutting diet - please critique

Ok here goes; Under 10% b/f and looking to get under 5.

My diet is going to be a 6 day on/one off schedule.

Meal 1 - 1/2 cup of oats
6 egg whites, 1 yolk

Supps Fish oil
Vit C
Multi vit
1000mg of calcium

Meal 2 - Low-carb protein shake


Meal 3 - 100g skinless chicken breast
5 egg whites
1 cup of lettuce

Meal 4 - (same as meal 2)


Meal 5 - Same as meal 3 but substituting the lettuce for 1 cup of brocolli. (NOT SURE WETHER TO ADD IN 2 CUPS HERE THOUGH)

Meal 6 - 5 egg whites with chocolate low-carb protein powder sprinkled on top for flavour.

Before bed - Same as meal 6 (only if really hungry)


NOTE that all egg whites are either scrambled or boiled.


Training is basically going to be same as bulking, i.e. heavy duty, basic movements with moderate to heavy weight. However i am going to alternate from week to week with light weight/high reps one week, heavy duty the next etc.

Cardio will only be done on saturday, mainly due to convenience. This will also be my last low carb day before the high on Sunday and this will be an hour long session which will be hard, but will put me in extremely high fatburning mode.


As regards to gear, I will only be using ECA and clen. No roids.

I would much appreciate any positive or negative feedback anyone may have.

If it were me bro, I would try to cut out some of those shakes for real food. I feel that protein from real food is much better than protein supplements.
 
I would prefere that but to be honest its just convenience. i work in the city so it would mean hacking all that food to work. The egg whites in meal 3 alone stink the whole train out.
 
I would add more veggies and fats.

You have no EFA's and this becomes especially important when dieting. Higher fat diets by the way show more fatty acid oxidation(substrate utilization).
 
for bulking, more food is better imo, but for cutting, shakes work great. first id go on fitday.com and see how many calories that is and what the breakdown is between protein/carbs/fat. for me, i like a 55/15/30. you should also find out what your bmr(basic metabolic rate) is.
