Lately i have been disolving 5g of creatine in a cup of green tea with a little sugar. 2 times a day. Than 1/2 hour later i have some gatorade. Do you think this will work?

Been eating my face off. Was 239 like 3 wks ago...now up to 249 and i just started taking creatine 4 days ago.
Eating 2 meal replacement shakes a day 1 during the day....1/2 before bed and 1/2 when i wake up in the middle of the night to take a piss.
Anything else i can do to increase the rate of lean gains?
