Chiropractor tells me to lower my weights

I knew this was coming. Next it'll be "take 2 months off". My ulnar nerve is f'd up, so the right side of my hand goes tingly/numb sometimes. This got me back into the chiropractor and starting my first treatment ever. We both think my doing skullcrushers f'd it up. He tells me to lower the weights on all my exercises today. I don't do skulls anymore.

Now, I'm not lowering shit. Yeah, any movement of my elbow is putting pressure on it, but the two worst ones are narrow grip bench and dips. So on these two exercises, what if I limit the ROM by going 2/3 of the way down that I used to? Will my tris still get a good work, or should I not even bother?

I believe Chiropractors to be an underated profession relating to athletes in general. I had one in college, all throughout college. It definitely worked as a benefit for me to work with one. In the grand scheme of things, what's two months?
 
of course you can get a good workout doing 2/3 dips. I think WSB does only 1/4 dips and they are the strongest pple in da world
 
I agree with Hammer. I think a lot of people look at chiros like they are a waste of time. But, the chiro at my school took me at a point where it hurt my knees just to get up out of a chair and put me back in a healthy state where i could do squats again no problem.

He never told me to "lower the weights" so to speak. But he did tell me to start at a lower weight for a while and then work my way back up in weight. So i started lower and i got back up. I am now stronger than i ever was...

Trust your chiro, they're just about the only doctors that want to try and heal without drugs.
