cardio on weights days after hitting the gym for cutting?

id like to step up my attendance to kung-fu, as its great carido.

problem is its in the evening mostdays. i was wondering how doing weights in the afternoonish period, a meal then kung-fu would affect fat loss and more importantly will i lose tons of muscle?

what about doing kungfu as cardio anyway. i would be doing it on days i couldnt do morning cardio/with morining cardio

whatcha think?

also as cutting goes:

what no. of reps should i aim for. should i be in the 8-12 range, as i read ur more injury prone on lower bf%/calories. will this make any sunstantial change from my usual 5-8 ish range?

should i be doing more sets? and do i munch lots of carbs as a post workout meal (not including post workout carbs consumed an hour ater exercise?)

any help would be much appreciated especially as i feel fat :(

don;t change your 'bulk' training routine. keep it the same for cutting.

a routine that helped build muscle will help preserve it.

it's usually best to separate cardio and weight days but do what you can.

have a nap between sessions if possible.

danielson, I know guys that will do a 20-minute HIIT routine directly after their workouts. I think as long as you don't go much over 30 minutes, you shouldn't have much muscle loss if any.

As for the reps, I think 8-12 is to hi. I think your 5-8 is fine. If you want to up it at all, I wouldn't go higher than 6-10, 3 sets tops.

thanxz for the replies guys :)
