Breakfast...?

Could do with some simple breakfast ideas.

I currently work 2-10pm so usually wake at 8am and get my training done from 9-11am. The only thing is that I struggle to eat breakfast before I go to the gym and don't really want to get up any earlier (I need my 8 hours!! Lol)

I tried porridge and muesli but its too heavy and often makes me feel sick during my workout. I'm doing a pull push routine that I've adapted from SL5x5 workout so know I need the carbs to power through and keep the weights going up.

Does anyone have any simple high carb breakfast ideas I could try? Going on am empty stomach and a serving of Jack3d is doing nothing for me!! Lol

Goals: maintain 180-185lbs whilst dropping 6lbs of fat. Diet currently 2500cals 40p30c30f if needed.

Any help appreciated :)

if you are short on time bro you could make up a batch of these bars . They have enough carbs and protein to fuel your workout...
also i would get rid of the jack3d its garbage ...lol
NTKTS is a much better option - focus and energy without the crazy jitters that you get from jack3d.

go to needtobuildmuscle.com for the NTKTS and go to amazon to get your RAW PROTEIN bars. :)

Cheers fellas! I've had 2 batches of the n2 bars columbo and am a big fan of those, just waiting til I put my next order in with n2bm to order them. I live in England you see so prefer buying a few products at once to make the shipping and customs tax worth paying.

For the guys recommending the oatmeal - possibly a silly question - is it just a case of mixing it with water and nuking it?

I get the quick oats that says it takes 3-5 minutes cooking, but i just pour boiling water over it and it sits for a minute or two. You could microwave it too I guess. Just put in enough water to cover the oats and put it in for about a minute to a minute and a half.
Sometimes I don't cook it at all and just mix it in a protein shake or with yogurt or cottage cheese like I said before.

I can't do cottage cheese bro, just the sight of it makes me want to hug the toilet bowl haha! I blended some oats in with strawberry whey and a banana this morning. Tasted pretty decent, wasn't a fan of the texture but I powered trough my workout though. Cheers for the heads up =D
